Hotel and central Queenstown pick ups between 12-00 and 12.30pm daily.

Half-day tour Departing 12.30pm & returning 5.00pm

 

• First stop will include light shared lunch and four craft beer tastings at Arrowtowns Fork and Tap hotel.
• Travel the scenic Crown Range to Cardrona where we visit the Cardrona Distillery. Guided tour of the distillery by distillery specialist followed by spirit tastings. Great photo opportunity’s at the Bra fence and stunning Crown Range.
• Stop at the iconic Cardrona Hotel where they will enjoy a cold glass of Cardrona Ale which has been brewed especially for the hotel.
• Visit Queenstown’s speciality Craft beer bar where they will taste 6 craft beers. The tour finishes here and guests can decide to stay or be taken back to their hotel.

 

 

Arrowtown Gold
Your adventure begins at the Fork And Tap, a charming ale house and restaurant, set in an historic stone cottage that made its debut in 1867 (during a goldrush). They specialise in New Zealand craft beers and you are going to sample 4 of them, along with gourmet pizza and hearty fries to warm and cheer your group (and line your stomachs!)*

The Crown Range
The Crown Range is New Zealand's most elevated highway, so prepare yourself for some outrageously beautiful views of Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu as we spiral our way up into the tussock-covered hills.

 

Cardrona Distillery & Museum
Cardrona Distillery is a dream realised for its spirit-loving owners. You'll be guided through the family's working distillery with a specialist, who will share insights about the traditional methods used to create their magic potions, and you'll be invited to sample their vodka and orange liquors.  

 

World-famous Cardrona Hotel
The historic Cardrona Hotel was built in 1863 and must surely be one of Central Otago's most photographed buildings. You'll see why! Its quaint, ambient style has featured in many wedding albums around the world. It also happens to have its very own brew - Cardrona Ale, which will be served to you in an ice cold glass. Aaah!

 

The Crafty Smiths of Queenstown
Your final destination is Smiths Craft Beerhouse Queenstown. These guys love original flavours and maverick beer-making, and they will delight in showing off 6 of their beers as samples for you to savour.

At this point in the tour, you have the option of bidding your guide goodnight and carrying on with your own plans - or we will happily drop you off to your accommodation.
